Princeton College is a private Ivy Class research college in Princeton, New Jersey, United States. Established in 1746 in Elizabeth as the School of New Jersey, Princeton was the fourth contracted organization of advanced education in the Thirteen Colonies and in this manner one of the nine Pilgrim Universities built up before the American Upset. The foundation moved to Newark in 1747, then to the present site nine years after the fact, where it was renamed Princeton College in 1896.
